Advanced Interface

Gaffer of course has a full GUI. We chose not to use the "LWpanels.p" plugin to create our interface, since it offers only limited control over an interface's look and behavior.

Gaffer has an interactive preview of the shading options you have selected. This is useful especially when designing multiple specularities, as the exact response can be seen and adjusted in real time.

All of Gaffer's numeric controls are fully envelopable. Different controls can even be slaved to the same envelope. This allows, for example, multiple surfaces to change their behavior simultaneously by editing just one envelope.
